Harriet Tubman to be featured on new $20 bill
Harriet Tubman’s legacy continues to grow with the news that the U.S. Treasury will redesign the $20 bill to feature Tubman’s face on the front. She becomes the first woman in more than 100 years and the first African-American woman to be featured on U.S. currency. We think this shows the power of her story of courage and selflessness, and how it speaks to people of all ages and circumstances all over the country and the world.
